Japan's Beyond Next Ventures deepens India bet, picks IILM University to build deeptech founder pipeline
India, June 27 -- Starting this July, a Japanese venture capital firm will have a full-time investor sitting inside an Indian university classroom, not to teach, but to find the next founders before they have even started a company. Beyond Next Ventures, one of Japan's most active early-stage deeptech funds, is partnering with IILM University to turn students and faculty into startup builders, with a first-year target of 100 new ventures and a path to seed funding for the ones that stand out.
