India, Nov. 6 -- INS Tarkash concluded an enriching and emotive port call at Port Louis, Mauritius, on 03 Nov 2026.

The Commanding Officer called on Mrs Kan Oye Fong, Secretary of Home Affairs, and Mr Rampersad Sooroojebally, PMSM, Commissioner of Police, Mauritius. The latter also visited onboard to interact with the ship's crew.

The ship hosted a cultural exchange onboard to commemorate Aapravasi Diwas 2026, with Dr the Hon Mahend Gungapersad, Minister of Education and Human Resource, Government of Mauritius, as the Guest of Honour. HE Shri Anurag Srivastava, High Commissioner of India to Mauritius, and other distinguished guests were in attendance.
