India, Feb. 24 -- The 1stJoint Working Group (JWG) meeting on Agriculture was held today between India and Kenya in virtual mode. The meeting was co-chaired by Shri Ajeet Kumar Sahu, Joint Secretary (IC), Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfares, and Mr. Stephen Rono, Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, Kenya.
Officials from both sides shared perspectives on current priorities, key challenges, and emerging initiatives within their respective agricultural landscapes and highlighted the importance of enhancing bilateral collaboration in agriculture and related sectors.
