India, May 4 -- Viqarul Mulk Hall (VM Hall), Aligarh Muslim University, organised a programme to mark the inauguration of newly installed benches across its four hostels and the hall canteen, under a community-driven initiative.
A total of 21 benches were installed through contributions from students, and support from the Provost, wardens and staff, reflecting a strong sense of collective responsibility and community participation.
Dean Students' Welfare, Prof Mohammad Athar Ansari, who was the Chief Guest, formally inaugurated the benches in the presence of hall authorities and residents.
