ALIGARH, Sept. 11 -- ALIGARH : Professor Naima Khatoon, Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and a Professor of Psychology, has been elected as a Fellow of the prestigious Indian National Science Academy (INSA). The announcement was made during the Academy's Annual General Meeting held on September 9, 2025.
The Fellowship, which will be effective from January 1, 2026, is regarded as one of the highest recognitions in the field of science and academia in India. INSA, established in 1935, elects Fellows who have made significant contributions in their respective areas of expertise, and whose experience and knowledge are expected to further enrich the Academy's programmes and initiatives.
