Aligarh, Aug. 8 -- Aligarh : Instilling environmental consciousness among children from an early age, the NCC Unit of Aligarh Muslim University's STS School organised a tree plantation drive on the school campus under the nationwide 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign.
The initiative sought to sensitise young students to the importance of environmental conservation while encouraging them to associate the act of planting and nurturing trees with the values of love, care and gratitude towards their mothers. The programme reflected AMU schools' continued emphasis on developing environmentally responsible and socially conscious young citizens.
