ALIGARH, Feb. 25 -- day Capacity Building Programme titled "Women at Work: Aligning Gender Justice and Economic Freedom" at Gujarat National Law University.
The programme was organised in collaboration with the GNLU Centre for Women & Child Rights and the V. V. Giri National Labour Institute. In his lecture, Mr Raja examined the structural barriers faced by transgender persons in accessing formal employment, banking, credit systems and financial services. He emphasised the need for inclusive policy frameworks, gender-sensitive financial products and institutional reforms to ensure equitable participation in economic processes.
