ALIGARH, Sept. 19 -- ALIGARH, September 19: Sarojini Naidu Hall, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), organised a counselling session on "Mental Health Focusing on Overthinking and Its Remedies", with Prof. Shah Alam, Chairman, Department of Psychology, as the resource person.
The session, held under the guidance of Provost Prof. Orus Ilyas, explored the emotional impact of overthinking and practical ways to manage it. Prof. Shah Alam highlighted the distinction between healthy reflection and rumination, encouraging students to learn from the past, plan for the future and remain grounded in the present.
