ALIGARH, Feb. 16 -- week National Workshop on "Open-Source Software: Koha and DSpace" with a valedictory ceremony at its Cultural Hall, marking the culmination of six days of intensive training and deliberations.
Held from February 9 to 14, the workshop drew 90 participants from across the country, including Kerala, Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. The programme focused on Koha, an Integrated Library Management System (ILMS), and DSpace, a widely used digital repository platform, with the objective of promoting cost-effective, sustainable and technologically robust solutions for library automation in academic and public institutions.
