ALIGARH, Aug. 8 -- ALIGARH : Prof Farhan Ahmad Khan, Department of Pharmacology, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), has been appointed Chairman of the department for a period of three years with effect from August 8, 2026.
Prof Khan is a clinical pharmacologist and Consultant, Drug & Poison Information Centre (DPIC), JNMC Hospital. He completed his MBBS and M.D. in Pharmacology from JNMC, AMU, and also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Diabetology and a Certificate Course in Clinical Management of Diabetes. He has been serving as Professor in the Department of Pharmacology, JNMC, since December 2020.
