ALIGARH, Feb. 15 -- ALIGARH : As part of the ongoing National Science Day celebrations, the Department of Physics, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), organised a special colloquium on the theme "2025 Nobel Prize in Physics" at the Conference Hall of the Department.
On the occasion, Prof. S. S. Z. Ashraf, Department of Physics, delivered a lecture titled "Macroscopic Yet Quantum: Superconducting Circuits and the 2025 Nobel Prize in Physics." In his presentation, he traced the historical evolution of quantum mechanics and explained the foundational concept of quantum mechanical tunnelling.
