ALIGARH, Feb. 12 -- ALIGARH : Dr Saif Quaiser, Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and Hospital, Aligarh Muslim University, delivered an expert lecture on "Extracorporeal Therapy in Poisoning" during the scientific sessions of the 81st national conference of the Association of Physicians of India (APICON 2026) held in Patna.
In his presentation, Dr Quaiser discussed the evolving role of renal replacement and other extracorporeal modalities in managing severe toxicological emergencies where conventional treatment alone may be inadequate.
