ALIGARH, Aug. 1 -- ALIGARH : Dr Pankaj Parashar, Department of Hindi, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), has been conferred with the Himalayan Excellence Award in recognition of his outstanding and sustained contribution to literature, particularly in the fields of Hindi and Urdu literary studies.
The award was presented during the two-day National Seminar on "Ramanand Sagar: Personality and Works", jointly organised by the Sahitya Akademi and Himalayan Degree College, Rajouri (Jammu & Kashmir).
