ALIGARH, Sept. 3 -- ALIGARH : A new scholarship has been instituted at the Department of Home Science, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), through a generous donation of Rs 2,00,000 by Prof. Anisa Musarath Durrani, a retired faculty member of the university.
The scholarship, titled the 'Prof. Anisa Musarath Durrani Merit-cum-Means Scholarship', will support one deserving student from the minority community enrolled in the final year of the M.Sc. Home Science programme from the session 2025-26.
According to the terms, the awardee will be chosen on the basis of both merit and means, taking into consideration the financial status of the family, class attendance record, sessional marks, and examination results from the past year. The selection w...
