Manufactured at AM/NS India's integrated steelmaking facility in Hazira, the specialised steel used in the vessel highlights the role of advanced Indian steelmaking in supporting the country's growing defence manufacturing ecosystem and maritime security. The milestone further strengthens AM/NS India's contribution to India's self-reliance journey by supplying critical materials for strategically important national programmes.
