India, Sept. 27 -- A YouTuber from Tamil Nadu's Kanyakumari district, known for showcasing gold jewellery and bundles of cash on social media, was robbed after burglars broke into his house near Nagercoil and fled with 118 sovereigns of gold and cash.

The incident took place at VIP Garden in Thammathukonam, where YouTuber Vinoth Kumar lives with his wife, Madhumitha.

According to police, unidentified burglars broke open the rear door of the house during the night and entered the premises before stealing the valuables.

118 sovereigns of gold stolen

The burglars reportedly escaped with 118 sovereigns of gold, equivalent to around 944 grams, along with cash kept inside the house.
