India, March 18 -- Two-wheeler major Yamaha has unveiled the world's first scooter that features an airbag, providing safety to commuters.

"For 2026 the Tricity 300 gets a significant upgrade with the addition of a rider's airbag - the first to be fitted to any Yamaha," the company said in a statement, sharing details about the vehicle.

The company claimed the scooter's body has undergone a major restyle and features a dynamic new look with a sharper and tighter front fairing.
