Chennai/IBNS, June 1 -- Speculation over whether former Tamil Nadu BJP president K. Annamalai is preparing to launch his own political outfit has intensified after posters bearing his image and a cryptic message surfaced across Coimbatore, media reports said.

Genesis of the speculation

The buzz gained momentum after Annamalai skipped the BJP's recent state central committee meeting.
