Kolkata/IBNS, May 8 -- The suspense over who will succeed Mamata Banerjee is expected to end soon as Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Kolkata on Friday to chair a crucial BJP meeting to select the next Chief Minister of West Bengal.

He was accompanied by BJP heavyweight Suvendu Adhikari and state BJP president Samik Bhattacharya.
The Home Minister is scheduled to chair a BJP legislative party meeting later in the evening to pick the party's legislative leader.
