India, July 1 -- Exiled Chinese businessman Miles Guo, who portrayed himself as a fierce critic of China's communist government, has been sentenced to 30 years in prison in the United States for orchestrating a massive fraud scheme that duped thousands of investors out of more than $1 billion.

Announcing the sentencing, the U.S. Attorney's Office said in a statement: "Attorney for the United States, Sean S.
