India, April 7 -- The Embassy of India in Iran has asked all Indian nationals in Iran to remain where they are for the next 48 hours, citing heightened security concerns.

Citizens have been advised to stay indoors, avoid all electric and military installations, and keep away from upper floors of multi-storey buildings.

Indians staying in embassy-arranged hotels have been directed to remain inside their premises and maintain constant contact with on-ground embassy teams to ensure safety and coordination.
