India, May 13 -- A Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) of Indian Railways has been suspended after a viral social media video allegedly showed him offering passengers a seat on the Vande Bharat Express at a discounted rate without issuing a proper ticket.

The video, which has been widely circulated online, shows the TTE suggesting to a passenger that he could arrange a seat on the premium train for Rs.380, bypassing the standard ticket-booking procedure.

During the interaction, the TTE can reportedly be heard admitting that such an arrangement was "not allowed." However, despite acknowledging the violation, he allegedly went on to offer the passenger a seat at the reduced price instead of directing them to book through official channels. ...
