India, June 16 -- The story of a former Amazon employee who left his corporate job to pursue his passion for driving-and later joined Uber as a driver-is going viral after a young techie shared his video on Instagram.

Kumar, who has been driving an Uber taxi in Hyderabad since the service launched in the city, reportedly made the decision in 2014 to quit his corporate career and follow a path that allows him to meet new people, hear their stories, and explore different parts of the city every day.

The video was shared on Instagram by software developer Chetna Singh, who posted her interaction with Kumar online.

Speaking to Singh, Kumar-now one of the highest-rated Uber drivers in the region-spoke about his love for the job.
