Vijay govt calls for action to stop students, youth from joining CJP, Left protests
Chennai/IBNS, Aug. 19 -- Tamil Nadu's College Education Department has directed officials to take "appropriate coordinated action" to prevent students and youth from participating in protests and agitations organised by Left parties and the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), according to media reports.
Officials were also asked to take steps to discourage and prevent male and female students, as well as other young people, from participating in such programmes.
The department further directed the concerned authorities to submit an action-taken report to the Directorate of Collegiate Education.
