Guwahati/IBNS, March 31 -- Vaibhav Suryavanshi's blistering half-century powered Rajasthan Royals to a commanding eight-wicket win over Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League 2026 at Barsapara Cricket Stadium on Monday.

The left-hander, also the youngest debutant in IPL history, struck four boundaries and five sixes in a dazzling display of power-hitting.

Earlier, the Royals bundled out the Super Kings for 127 in 19.4 overs after opting to field first. Jamie Overton top-scored for Chennai with 43 off 36 balls in an otherwise underwhelming batting performance.

Ravindra Jadeja (2/18) chipped in with the ball to restrict the Royals' batting lineup to a manageable target, but it proved far from enough in the end.
