US uncovers Iranian fraud network that allegedly scammed American companies
India, May 30 -- The United States has announced fresh measures to dismantle a sophisticated Iranian procurement network accused of impersonating and defrauding American businesses to obtain sensitive technology for Iran's military and defense sector.
According to the U.S. State Department, the sanctions are part of the broader "Economic Fury" campaign and target individuals and entities acting on behalf of Iran's Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics (MODAFL).
