UP woman kills husband with boyfriend's help, fakes heart attack death
India, Oct. 7 -- A 30-year-old man in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut was allegedly killed by his wife and her boyfriend, with the crime initially passed off as a heart attack, police said.
The incident took place in Lohia Nagar in September. The victim, Talib, had been married to 27-year-old Ilma, a beautician, for four years. The couple had a three-year-old daughter.
The family initially believed he had died of natural causes and buried him.
Hidden phone leads family to affair
Suspicion reportedly grew later. On October 1, Talib's cousin Rais visited Ilma's house and found Talib's mobile phone hidden under clothes.
When family members questioned Ilma about the messages, she allegedly confessed to the killing.
