India, May 5 -- India on Tuesday strongly condemned the Iranian attack on the United Arab Emirates, which left three Indian nationals injured, calling it "unacceptable."
In a statement, the Ministry of External Affairs said, "The attack on Fujairah that resulted in injury to three Indian nationals is unacceptable. We call for the immediate cessation of hostilities and condemn the targeting of civilian infrastructure and innocent civilians."
New Delhi also underscored the importance of ensuring free and unimpeded navigation through the Strait of Hormuz in accordance with international law, and said it remains ready to support all efforts aimed at a peaceful resolution.
