India, June 30 -- A 44-year-old man in the United States reportedly died of a heart attack while attempting to dispose of the body of his girlfriend, whom authorities say had been strangled to death.

The deceased man was identified as Daniel Robbins, while the victim was identified as Jessica Folds, 47.

According to media reports, Robbins allegedly tried to dispose of Folds' body in a wooded area near Lanett, Alabama.

Authorities later found the bodies of both Robbins and Folds lying next to each other in brush beside a roadway.

An autopsy determined that Folds died from strangulation, Upper Michigan Source reported.
