India, May 24 -- Fresh details have emerged in the death case of Twisha Sharma, with her husband Samarth Singh telling police that her behaviour changed after her pregnancy was confirmed on April 17.

During questioning by the police, Samarth Singh reportedly claimed that tensions in the marriage escalated soon after the couple returned from the hospital following confirmation of the pregnancy.

'She said she could not live a domestic life'

According to investigators, Samarth Singh told police that Twisha Sharma said she wanted to return to her parents' home and could not continue living a "domestic life".

He claimed that she flew to Delhi the same evening and went to her family home in Noida.
