India, March 9 -- US President Donald Trump has said he was not happy with the selection of new Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei.
Fox News anchor Brian Kilmeade said that Trump has told him, "I am not happy" when asked about the selection of the new Supreme Leader.
Hours before the official announcement on the selection of the new Supreme Leader was made, Trump told ABC News that without the US' approval the new leader would not 'last long'.
"He's going to have to get approval from us," the president told ABC News. "If he doesn't get approval from us he's not going to last long. We want to make sure that we don't have to go back every 10 years, when you don't have a president like me that's not going to do it."
