India, May 29 -- US President Donald Trump on Friday said he is preparing to take a "final determination" on a potential peace arrangement involving Iran, amid escalating tensions over nuclear concerns and the strategic Strait of Hormuz.

In a post on social media, Trump said he would be meeting in the Situation Room to decide whether to move forward, emphasizing that Iran must permanently abandon nuclear weapons ambitions and ensure free passage through key shipping routes.
