India, May 3 -- US President Donald Trump on Saturday said he would review Iran's new 14-point peace proposal but openly doubted it would be acceptable, saying Tehran had not yet "paid a big enough price" for its actions over the last 47 years.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote that he would soon examine the plan sent by Iran, but added he "cannot imagine" agreeing to it.
Fresh strike threat
Speaking briefly to reporters in Florida, Trump also warned that military strikes on Iran could resume if the country "misbehaves."
"If they misbehave, if they do something bad. it's a possibility that could happen, certainly," he said, without elaborating on what actions might trigger renewed attacks.
