Chennai/IBNS, Aug. 15 -- Actor Trisha Krishnan grabbed the media glare at the country's 80th Independence Day celebrations in Chennai on Saturday as she was spotted in the front row with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay's parents.

In a specific clip, Trisha was seen saluting while the Chief Minister passed by in a jeep in discharge of his official duties.

Accompanied by her mother, Uma Krishnan, Trisha was seated beside Vijay's parents, S.A. Chandrasekhar and Shoba Chandrasekhar.

The moment has triggered the memories of Trisha's attendance at Vijay's oath-taking ceremony in May this year as the former's presence had fuelled the speculations over their bonhomie.
