Tragedy in the skies: Five IAF personnel killed in AN-32 crash in Assam
Jorhat/IBNS, June 13 -- Five Indian Air Force (IAF) personnel were killed after an AN-32 transport aircraft crashed in Assam's Jorhat on Saturday morning, according to media reports.
The aircraft reportedly met with the accident during a routine sortie at around 10 am.

Sharing details of the incident, the IAF said the aircraft met with an accident while undertaking a routine sortie.
Inquiry Underway
The IAF said crash site management operations and preliminary inquiries are currently underway.
