India, May 11 -- US President Donald Trump on Monday rejected Iran's latest proposal aimed at ending the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, calling Tehran's terms "totally unacceptable." His remarks have raised concerns over a possible renewed escalation in the region after weeks of diplomatic efforts.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote: "I have just read the response from Iran's so-called 'Representatives.' I don't like it - TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! Thank you for your attention to this matter." He did not provide further details on Iran's counterproposal.
