New Delhi/IBNS, June 13 -- The turmoil within the Trinamool Congress (TMC) parliamentary party appears to have intensified, with senior MP Sudip Bandyopadhyay now being linked to the camp of rebel legislators of the party.

In a significant political development on Saturday, the Kolkata North MP was seen travelling in the same vehicle as rebel TMC MP Shatabdi Roy after arriving in New Delhi.

The two leaders reportedly headed directly from the airport to the residence of senior BJP leader and Union Minister Bhupender Yadav, where a meeting involving dissident TMC MPs was already underway.

According to reports, Bandyopadhyay and Roy travelled from Kolkata to Delhi on the same flight on Saturday morning.
