Nashik/IBNS, April 18 -- Amid an ongoing probe into allegations of sexual abuse and forced religious conversion, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has clarified that one of the accused, Nida Khan, did not hold any leadership role within the organisation.

The company stated that Khan was neither part of the HR team nor responsible for recruitment functions.

Khan, who joined the company in December 2021 as a process associate, was placed under suspension by the firm last week after the firm cited a "serious matter" against her.

According to a suspension letter dated April 9, accessed by NDTV, the company said it had been informed of allegations against Khan, who is currently in judicial or police custody.
