Tata Sons leadership shock: N Chandrasekaran won't seek reappointment as chairman after February 2027
Mumbai/IBNS, Aug. 12 -- Tata Sons chairman N Chandrasekaran has decided not to seek reappointment after the end of his current term in February 2027, ahead of the company's Annual General Meeting scheduled to be held on August 18, media reports said.
Chandrasekaran, who has served as chairman of Tata Sons for nearly a decade, said he would step down after completing his ongoing tenure.
In a statement, Chandrasekaran said he had completed 40 years of professional life at the Tata Group and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to the organisation.
His current tenure as chairman of Tata Sons is scheduled to end on February 20, 2027.
