Kolkata/IBNS, April 6 -- The crowd at the Eden Gardens erupted in joy as Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan marked his first appearance at Kolkata Knight Riders' home match against Punjab Kings in IPL 2026 on Monday.

Khan flew down to Kolkata with his actor daughter Suhana Khan for the game, which was interrupted by heavy rain in just the fourth over.

Spectators cheered loudly as the 60-year-old appeared on the giant screen inside the stadium.
