India, Sept. 9 -- Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation and Aramco have signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore a strategic collaboration aimed at advancing industrial AI capabilities through sensing, artificial intelligence and other mutually agreed technologies across complex industrial environments.

The collaboration will combine Sony's advanced sensing and AI technologies with Aramco's extensive industrial data, operational expertise, established infrastructure and portfolio of real-world industrial use cases.

The companies aim to co-develop innovative solutions designed to enhance situational awareness and improve response capabilities across industrial operations.
