India, Oct. 9 -- Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is on an official visit to Singapore from October 9 to 11, during which she is scheduled to hold a series of high-level engagements with the country's leadership and leading global investors.

During the visit, Sitharaman will call on Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong and Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan.

Discussions will focus on key areas of the India-Singapore Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and advancing the outcomes of the India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable (ISMR), including trade and investment, digital financial connectivity, capital markets, taxation, semiconductor...
