India, Oct. 8 -- Three people, including two children, were killed after a four-storey building collapsed in Delhi's Seemapuri area on Wednesday, triggering a major search-and-rescue operation.

The deceased include a 12-year-old girl, 21-year-old Gulafsa, who was around four months pregnant, and another child whose identity is yet to be established.

DCP Rajendra Prasad Meena said one of the children was decapitated in the collapse.

Eight rescued, taken to hospital

Eight people were rescued from the debris and taken to Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital in Tahirpur for treatment.
