India, April 11 -- India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on Saturday said that 312 Indian fishermen have been safely evacuated from Iran and brought back to India via Armenia.

"Another 312 Indian fishermen safely evacuated from Iran to India through Armenia," Jaishankar said in a post on X.

He also acknowledged the support of the Armenian government and thanked his counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan for facilitating the evacuation.

Meanwhile, delegations from Iran and the United States have arrived in Pakistan for high-stakes negotiations taking place during an ongoing two-week ceasefire between the two sides.
