India, July 7 -- US Senator Rick Scott has sharply criticised Pakistan's reported efforts to facilitate talks between the United States and Iran, accusing Islamabad of hypocrisy after Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif attended the state funeral of Iran's late Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, in Tehran.

Scott made the remarks on X after a video of Sharif speaking at the funeral surfaced online. In the video, the Pakistani premier pays tribute to Khamenei, describing him as a "great scholar and leader" whose legacy would be remembered across the Muslim world.
