Hyderabad/IBNS, March 25 -- Telugu superstar Ram Charan has suffered a minor injury while shooting for his upcoming film Peddi, media reports said.

Pawan Kalyan, who is also Ram Charan's uncle, has wished him a speedy recovery.

Ram Charan has been advised rest and is expected to resume shooting soon.

Written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi is a sports drama produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings.

The film stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, alongside Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu and Divyendu in key roles. The background score is composed by A. R. Rahman.
