India, Oct. 9 -- Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Friday said he was "stunned" that President Droupadi Murmu did not deny the Opposition's allegations of irregularities in the electoral system during a meeting with a delegation of INDIA bloc leaders.

Gandhi said the President had asked the Opposition to provide evidence to support its claims. "We have all the proof of how elections were stolen.

"The entire country has seen it," he said after the meeting.

The President's office did not issue an immediate statement on the discussions.
