India, Oct. 12 -- Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra led a march towards the Supreme Court on Monday, joined by opposition leaders seeking to challenge Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over allegations of electoral irregularities.

Security was tightened across the national capital ahead of the protest march, which was organised under the banner of the INDIA opposition alliance.

Opposition leaders gathered near the Connaught Place-Barakhamba Road junction before proceeding with the demonstration.

The march marks another escalation in tensions in the national capital, which has witnessed repeated protests against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities in the electoral process....
