India, April 25 -- Politician Raghav Chadha's decision to switch from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) appears to have sparked a strong backlash among Gen Z, with reports claiming he lost nearly 10 lakh Instagram followers within just 24 hours.

On Friday, the 37-year-old Rajya Sabha MP reportedly had 14.6 million followers on Instagram. By 1 pm on Saturday, that number had dropped to 13.5 million, according to India Today. By 3:41 pm, his Instagram page showed his follower count had further declined to 13.3 million.

He also drew attention for speaking against the exploitation of gig workers under 10-minute delivery models and even worked as a Blinkit delivery partner to highlight their struggles firsthand. H...
