New Delhi/IBNS, May 21 -- Hamza Burhan, one of the alleged masterminds behind the 2019 Pulwama attack, has reportedly been killed by unidentified assailants in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), according to media reports.

On February 14, 2019, a suicide bombing in Pulwama killed 40 CRPF personnel in one of the deadliest terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.

The attack was carried out by 22-year-old Adil Ahmad Dar, a Jaish-e-Mohammed recruit, who rammed an explosive-laden SUV into a CRPF convoy.
